Description
PICOMIST 4098 is a high-performance, vegetable-based mist lubricant designed for sawing, cutting, machining, and forming operations on ferrous, non-ferrous, aluminum, titanium alloys, and composites. Made from renewable materials, it delivers excellent lubrication, tool life, and surface finish while remaining environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
The fluid is used “as received” and applies easily via MQL spray or non-atomizing mist. It resists runoff, does not build up on tooling, and leaves a clean, ashless, non-tacky film. With no VOCs, no waste, and no cleanup required, PICOMIST 4098 supports efficient metalworking in demanding production environments and is also approved for incidental food-contact applications (USDA H1 & H2).
