Description
PICOGUARD OFI is a non-VOC, thixotropic rust inhibitor and anti-seize coating formulated for long-term protection of steel pipe threads, connectors, and metal surfaces in demanding environments. It forms a self-healing, waxy protective film that resists moisture, sulfur, bacteria, and UV degradation, making it suitable for oil field, industrial, and underground applications.
PICOGUARD OFI delivers over 5,000 hours of salt fog protection, withstands temperatures up to 300°F, and provides excellent anti-seize and lubricity properties during assembly and disassembly. It displaces moisture, bonds well to cleaned surfaces, and remains stable in both indoor and outdoor environments. Removal is typically unnecessary prior to welding or cutting.
