Description
PICOGUARD 6230 is a solvent-based rust and corrosion inhibitor designed for long-term indoor and outdoor protection of ferrous, cast, aluminum, galvanized, and tin surfaces. It forms a self-healing, soft-to-firm transparent film that withstands exposure to salt water, extreme humidity, acidic gases (SO₂ and H₂S), and handling damage such as bumps and scrapes.
PICOGUARD 6230 is suitable for steel in shipping, export packaging, rebar protection, and general storage. Non-staining, salt spray resistant, and compliant with MIL-PRF-16173E Grade 4, MIL-PRF-83933, MIL-PRF-62218(AT), and MIL-C-0083933A(MR). It is applied “as received” by spray, brush, dip, or roll, and dries within 3 hours depending on conditions.
