Description
PICOGUARD 6222 is an oil-dispersed rust and corrosion inhibitor designed for long-term indoor protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals exposed to acid fumes, high humidity, or corrosive environments. It forms a non-discernible, oily-to-the-touch film that is water-displacing, non-staining, and fingerprint-suppressing. Ideal for maintaining part appearance and quality during storage and handling.
PICOGUARD 6222 can be applied by spray, immersion, or roll coat at temperatures from +10°F to 180°F. It supports post-processing such as welding and pickling without removal, offers excellent coverage, and meets multiple performance standards, including water displacement, salt spray, and acid fume resistance.
