Description
PICOGUARD 6210 is a solvent-based, oil-free rust and corrosion inhibitor formulated to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals during indoor storage. It forms a dry-to-the-touch, invisible molecular film. Displaces water, enhances surface appearance, and allows for post-processing such as welding, pickling, or painting (pretesting recommended).
Free of oil, barium, and heavy metals, PICOGUARD 6210 meets MIL-PRF-16173E Grades 3 and 5 and can be applied via spray (mist), immersion, or roll coat. It offers indoor protection for up to 24 months, with short-term outdoor protection up to 30 days under covered, acid-free conditions. The non-staining, non-discernible film improves handling, reduces cleaning steps, and requires no removal in most downstream operations.
