PICOGUARD 6205 is a solvent-based, oil-free rust inhibitor that forms an invisible dry film for indoor protection of metal parts and assemblies.
Applications: Steel bars, plate, tubing, fasteners, components, assemblies, inventory staging

Description
PICOGUARD 6205 is a solvent-based, oil-free rust and corrosion inhibitor that leaves a dry, non-discernible molecular film on ferrous and non-ferrous metal surfaces. Designed for indoor protection, it displaces moisture, improves surface appearance, and is compatible with welding and downstream processing like painting or pickling (pre-testing recommended).
Free of oil, barium, and heavy metals, PICOGUARD 6205 meets MIL-PRF-16173E performance requirements (Grades 3 and 5) and is ideal for use by spray, immersion, or roll coat. It is suitable for short- to mid-term indoor storage under acid-free, controlled environments and dries quickly without residue. Surfaces must be clean prior to application for optimal results.
