Description
PICOGUARD 17625 is a water-based, oil-free synthetic rust and corrosion inhibitor designed for temporary indoor protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It forms a clear, dry-to-the-touch, non-discernible molecular film that displaces moisture and prevents corrosion without staining or tackiness.
Free from oils, solvents, waxes, silicones, and nitrites. PICOGUARD 17625 is non-flammable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, biodegradable, and VOC-free, making it ideal for environmentally compliant operations. It is compatible with post-process steps like welding, pickling, and painting (pretesting recommended) and is often used as a final rinse passivator or fabricated tank interior protectant. Application is via spray, immersion, or flood, and the product may be diluted with water if needed.
