Description
PICOEXTRUD 409 P is a multifunctional lubricant for extrusion, cold heading, rivet forming, thread rolling, and related forming operations. It is used as received and delivers superior lubricity, high-temperature stability, and long-lasting protection for dies, tooling, and gears under severe metal flow conditions.
It is clean-running, mild in odor, and designed for extended service with minimal smoke and low volatility. The fluid is non-corrosive, chlorine- and sulfur-free, and safe on all metals including aluminum, brass, copper, and stainless. PICOEXTRUD 409 P can also be used as a gear lubricant without contaminating the forming process and is filterable and centrifuge-compatible.
