PICOCOOL 5255 is a biostable synthetic coolant for machining, grinding, sawing, and rollforming of ferrous, stainless, cast, tool steels, titanium, and composites. It offers excellent lubricity, corrosion protection, and sump life with clean-running performance.
Applications: CNC machining, grinding (all types), rollforming, tube mills, sawing, boring, tapping, broaching, and deep drilling.

Description
PICOCOOL 5255 is a multifunctional, oil-free synthetic coolant designed for use in machining, grinding, forming, and cutting operations on steel, stainless, titanium, cast metals, and composite materials. It offers strong lubricity, cooling, and corrosion protection while maintaining a clear, non-foaming system that keeps machines and parts clean.
It rapidly drops fines and prevents wheel loading, resists degradation under high chip loads, and splits out tramp oils to extend sump life. PICOCOOL 5255 is biologically stabilized, weld-safe, and produces a dry, non-tacky film that won’t build up on equipment or tooling. It’s also ideal for diamond and CBN wheel grinding and compatible with centrifuge systems for separation.
Do not mix with other metalworking coolants or additives.
