Description
PICOCLEAN XR 22 is a semi-viscous, non-VOC rust and scale remover formulated for fast, one-step cleaning of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It removes surface rust, mill scale, oxidation, weld and heat scale, dirt, flux, and grease without requiring separate pre-cleaning, reducing labor and material costs.
The product is biodegradable, environmentally compliant, and designed for use “as received” on horizontal, vertical, inclined, or rounded surfaces. Apply via spray, brush, or wipe-on/wipe-off. Light rust is typically removed in under 15 minutes. After use, rinse or wipe clean; follow-up protection with a PICOGUARD inhibitor is recommended for ongoing rust prevention. PICOCLEAN XR 22 meets multiple military and federal specs, including TT-C-490, MIL-C-490A, MIL-M-10578B, and MIL-C-46487.
