Description
PICO SPP 39-87 is a fast-drying, water-based hybrid acrylic primer coating designed for long-term protection of ferrous steel plate surfaces. It forms a durable, non-blocking film. Resists chipping, scratching, scuffing, and general wear during domestic or export shipping and storage.
This primer is VOC-free, non-flammable, and environmentally friendly, offering strong adhesion, high salt spray resistance, and excellent humidity protection. PICO SPP 39-87 can be applied as received by airless spray, roll coat, or brush, and is suitable for use on clean, dry metal substrates at temperatures between 50–220°F. It does not typically require removal before storage or further processing and may be removed using industry-standard surface prep procedures if necessary.
