Description
PICO SPP 205 is a solvent-based, oil-free rust and corrosion inhibitor formulated for short-term indoor protection of ferrous and non-ferrous steel plate surfaces. It forms a dry, non-discernible molecular film. Displaces moisture, resists staining, and enhances the appearance of metal surfaces.
Designed for ease of use, PICO SPP 205 is applied “as received” by spray, immersion, or roll coat and typically does not need to be removed before welding, painting, or pickling (pretesting recommended). It meets MIL-PRF-16173E Grades 3 & 5 and is compliant with low VOC regulations. Ideal for controlled indoor storage environments, it provides up to 6 months of protection and passes standard humidity and water displacement tests.
