APR 50 is a safer, nonylphenol-free blocked isocyanate resin that improves plastisol adhesion to e-coated substrates in automotive sealing and priming applications.
Applications: Automotive anti-chip primers, underbody sealers, visible seams, and low-bake PVC plastisols.

Description
APR 50 is a next-generation, nonylphenol-free blocked isocyanate resin developed to improve PVC plastisol adhesion in automotive sealants and anti-chip primer applications. It eliminates the environmental and health concerns associated with nonylphenol-containing formulations, making it a safer alternative for OEM and tier suppliers.
This DIDP-based adhesion promoter enhances bonding to electro-deposition primers. Improves plastisol rheology and wet-on-wet application characteristics. It cures effectively at 120°C when used with a recommended metal catalyst. APR 50 can be used at 2–10% by weight in low-bake systems and is ideal for visible seams and underbody protection coatings.
