Description
APR 49 is a blocked isocyanate resin formulated to enhance adhesion in PVC plastisol systems, especially those used in automotive sealers and anti-chip primers. It is based on a DIDP carrier and provides excellent adhesion to electro-deposition primers used in automotive and heavy vehicle manufacturing.
This product improves color stability and wet-on-wet compatibility. It also enhances plastisol rheology for smooth application. APR 49 is recommended for use at 2–10% by weight and cures at 120–140°C. It is ideal for visible seam areas and low-bake plastisol applications, delivering consistent adhesion in demanding, production-line settings.
