Description

APR 46 is a polyamidoamine (DOP) resin developed to enhance the adhesion of fused PVC plastisol and organosol coatings to a variety of substrates including metals, electro-coated metals, plastics, and fabrics. During the heat fusion process, it promotes strong interfacial bonding while maintaining low color impact on the finished coating.

With its lower amine value and improved viscosity stability over time, APR 46 is well suited for long-term storage in plastisol systems. It can be added at 1–5% by weight, either directly into the plastisol or preblended into the plasticizer phase. Offers excellent versatility in formulating high-performance vinyl coating systems.
