APR 410:
DINP-Based Adhesion Promoter
APR 410 is a polyamidoamine resin that enhances PVC plastisol adhesion to metal, e-coated surfaces, plastics, and fabrics while maintaining color and viscosity stability.
Applications: Automotive underbody coatings, interior sealers, flexible vinyl systems requiring clean fusion and strong substrate bonding.
- Used at 1–5% by weight
- Bake temperature: 120–140°C (30-minute cure)
- High-strength and flexible bonding
- Excellent color stability
- DINP-based formulation with low viscosity drift
Description
APR 410 is a DINP-based polyamidoamine resin formulated to enhance adhesion in PVC plastisol and organosol coating systems. It is designed for use on metals, e-coated metals, plastics, and fabrics. During the vinyl heat fusion process, it creates a strong bond between the coating and the substrate.
APR 410 maintains stable viscosity and prevents discoloration in stored plastisols. It works at low bake temperatures between 248°F and 284°F (120–140°C), with a cure time of 30 minutes. Its flexible performance and clean finish make it especially useful in automotive underbody coatings and non-visible sealer applications.
